She loves me….she loves me not….she loves me…..she loves me not…..

This pretty much sums up Averi’s feelings for me now. Sometimes she wants to be held or wants to hold my hand when we walk. Other times, she wants me no where near her and pushes me away or spits. And boy, can she spit! Her crying episodes are not near as long today, lasting no more than an hour at a time. We have had a few moments where she seems happier and boy does she have a ton of faces!! She has quite the little personality in there…..we just can’t wait to see all of it. She is so adorable and we couldn’t be happier with this sweet girl!!

Once we got her unbundled yesterday, she is a peanut! She is about an 18 month size, but looks very healthy. She has absolutely no delays and speaks a ton of Chinese. She is very smart and imitates everything she sees. She will have no trouble keeping up with our other kids or holding her own ground. She is very bossy at times, but can be very kind when she wants to.
She has only wanted me up to this point, but last night all of a sudden she ran over to Ashley and stared at her for about 30 minutes. They then started throwing toys back and forth and we saw our first smile and giggles. She is so cute!!

Today the sun has come out and we will do some sightseeing for the first time. We can’t wait to see more of this city. It has been so cold these past few days, and we are very ready to get out.
Jake, Allie, Malea and Jadyn….you will just love her. She is active and funny, and will fit in great with all of you. Last night she was looking at your pictures on the computer and saying all of your names with BIG SMILES! I think she is really looking forward to having some little buddies to play with.

Miss you all!
